ISO 39001

ISO 39001:2012 establishes the requirements for a road safety management system (RTS), with the purpose of enabling organizations that interact with the road system to reduce deaths and serious injuries resulting from road accidents. Based on the Safe System approach and the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, this certification reinforces the institutional commitment to road safety and enhances the organizational reputation for the prevention of serious risks on the roads.

ISO 50001

ISO 50001 provides a practical framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving an energy management system (EnMS). Inspired by other standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, it promotes continuous improvement of energy performance through objectives, measurement, analysis and planned actions. Although its adoption is voluntary, it enables companies to optimize energy use, reduce operating costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Sanitary Quality Seal

The Sanitary Quality Seal Program (PSCS), established by the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewerage (AyA), recognizes the efforts of public, community and private operators that manage aqueduct systems for human consumption. This voluntary program promotes the improvement of hygienic-sanitary conditions and water resource management, supported by technical and analytical criteria that guarantee a high quality and sustainable drinking water service.

Costa Rica Essential Country Brand License

Its purpose is to project the country’s image internationally by promoting exports, tourism, foreign investment and Costa Rican culture. The companies that obtain this recognition have been evaluated according to five fundamental values: excellence, sustainability, innovation, social progress and Costa Rican connection. This license enhances the visibility, credibility and competitiveness of companies with institutional backing.

Environmental Management

The environmental management system focuses on protecting the environment, society and the economy by preventing or mitigating environmental impacts, supporting legal compliance, improving environmental performance, proper waste management and communicating with relevant stakeholders in the socio-environmental field.

Quality Management

The quality management system seeks to provide control over the services performed to meet the requirements of both internal and external customers, legislation and concession contract, thus facilitating the ability to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the system, thus corroborating the correct compliance and continuous improvement of processes and procedures by means of documented evidence and information.

Ecological Blue Flag

It is the recognition of the effort and voluntary work in the search for conservation and development, in accordance with the protection of natural resources, the implementation of actions to face climate change, the search for better hygienic-sanitary conditions and the improvement of public health. The program involves developing new actions every year.

Occupational Health and Safety

The purpose of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System is to protect employees and visitors from accidents or near misses, thus mitigating any factor that may cause irreparable damage, providing a safe working environment for employees and anyone in the workplace.
