Globalvia Group

"The Concessionaire Company officially began operations on the route in January 2008, following the issuance of the Start Order by the Granting Authority, in accordance with the Concession Agreement. The concession period, contractually set at 25 years and 6 months, commenced on January 9, 2008.

In 2013, Globalvia Group, a world leader in infrastructure concession management with 26 projects across eight countries, including highways and railways, expanded its involvement in the project and assumed corporate control of the Concessionaire Company of the San José - Caldera Highway (National Route No. 27). This transition led to a rebranding in 2014, introducing the commercial name and brand Globalvia Ruta 27, under which the concessionaire company continues to operate today.
